The Project

Duration: 6 months

The objective of the JKU-FoDok project is to design and implement a research-documentation at the Johannes Kepler University Linz.

The JKU-FoDok should allow user to retrive online, up-to-date and world-wide accessable state of the research done at the university.
The documentation will cover information on departments, research projects and publications.

The data will be stored in an oracle database and the update and retrival will be possible via www-browsers.

Maintainance of the data will be done decentralized - departments are respensible for their data.

JKU-FoDok will provide data for a central research documentation of universities and research centers which is promoted by the ARGE-FoDok (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Forschungsdokumentation = working pool for an Austrian-wide research documentation).
